On your paper, create your background
with your "watercolor" medium

Gradient color background
Pointelle dot background
Abstract background
With your marker, draw random lines,
thick and thin, representing tree branches.
Finally, use your tissue paper, newsprint or cut paper to create buds.
Sporadically
Add as many or as little buds that you'd like.
